Danica and Erickson met by chance on a blind date (that they both tried to get out of). Danica was in such a hurry because she did not want to be late to the date, she almost hit Erickson in the parking lot! She later learned that he was the one while riding the Skyview one evening after they had visited the civil rights museum. While they were at the top of the Ferris wheel he told her that he was going to marry her. Danica loves that Erickson is true to his word and how extremely dependable he is.

Erickson proposed behind Ray’s on the River with the perfect ring, one Danica had fallen in love with a year before. She was completely surprised when it happened.

The two had a beautiful winter ceremony at Ashton Gardens. The day was full of so much laughter and love.

Ashton Gardens is a stunning venue with a secluded forest which makes the venue feel very private. Stunning floor to ceiling glass windows in the chapel. the landscape has beautiful courtyards, fountains, and trellised paths.
